Hello Mighty Peeps!
Sorries we has been absent from the bloggies all weekend. We hadded another bank holilibob here in the Engerland on Monday so mummy not had to workie.
We did not has a barbeque for mummy’s birfday, cos it beed forecast to rain, but it was actually nice all weekend, so instead we hadded a few long walks and played in the garden.
Today’s bloggie is about an old furiend of ours that has sadly lefted us….
Our Giant Sofa Chew Toy!!!
To our trusty chewy furiend…
We hadded many good times together, the four of us. You tasted so yummy, and you ripped so easily. Your stuffing gave us hours of fun while the pawrents were out. You was a constant companion to us. We coped alright when parts of you wented to sofa heaven, but when all of yous wented it was a very sad time for us.

Here Hazel be demonstrating the old duvet that we used to sleepies and sits on when the original cushions hadded to go to sofa heaven. Their stuffing was so much fun to rips.

Even the base of the sofa was yummy and rippable.
Mummy always blamed the sofa destruction on Sophie, cos she started it when she comed to lives with us. But what mummy not know is that I helped Sophie, and showded her how to do it, but then putted on my innocent face when mummy comed home! Sneaky eh!
Mummy says she need a doggy cam, like Dennis, Max and JD and Kylie have! I not think that be a good idea! BOL
So yous is probably askings what we has to sits on now….
well mummy and daddy say they not paying for expensive suite if we is going to chew it, so they gotted a free one off a furiend. They thinks we be out of that phase now but they not want to risk it on a posh sofa!! They was very lucky and managed to get a very nice free one….

That be my chair, it be all for me. Well that’s what I saided anyway. Me and Sophie Sis share it. We not be allowed on all the sofas all the time, we has to sleep in our doggie beds during the day, but we likies them anyway. And mummy and daddy have something called “throws” on them when we sits on them.
We has hadded them a few weekies now and not hads any destruction yet, but there still be time! BOL

I has been furry busy with my PAT work, having care home visits and some phobia visits. I has another one on Friday, gosh I be so in demand!! I will bloggie about those visits soon, cos I has had a few nice moments on them now.

We can emphathize with seeing an ol’ friend go … nothing beats the familiarity and comfort (though not exactly the most good looking) of an old sofa, shoe, shirt etc.

I’m sorry, I don’t get it! I don’t get the deal about chewing things up, wrecking toys, wrecking furniture, rugs, cords, what have you. I play with things, but never rip up. I don’t know why you do it! If I get bored, I go to sleep or find a toy to squeak. I don’t even play tug o’war with my Mom. Maybe its my Labbie “soft mouth”, but I am glad I am me!

Oh – RIP old sofa! It served you well and was comfy to the end – what pup could ask for more?! We’re considering staring a book on how long it’ll take you to chew your new one – he he he! No, really – we have every faith in you all to be ‘good dogs’ and just sleep on it…. Tail wags – JD and Max.
ooh! LEATHER!!! I try to eat the leather off of people’s shoes if they get too close. I could only imagine what that sofa TASTES LIKE!!!
