Snuggle Chair…

Hello Peeps!

Scott here! Hopies yous all hads good weekends? We chilled out with the pawrents, they hadded a rare weekend off together. Daddy be off workies this week, so we chilling with him all week! Yippee!

We want to firsts say congratulations to Nala and her pawrents. They gotted married (the pawrents…not Nala BOL) this weekend, in a bwootiful location and Nala was there, in a bwootiful collar, and she helded the rings, what a special jobbie! Check out her bloggie for some photies..!

Second today I wanteds to tells yous about our snuggle chair, or rather MY snuggle chair….

When we gotted new sofa we finally hadded an arm chair, something we has not hadded before! Well straight away I decided it be MY chair, and I could choose who to snuggle on it with….

Mummy puts a blankie over it to make it super comfy for me too. There be no humans allowed on my snuggle chair, unless I invite thems for a snuggle….

I then invited Sophie Sis on for a cuddle. But I don’t like to give up much space for my ladies, they has to find space where they can….

Then my other snuggle buddy wanted some snuggle action, off went Sophie Sis and on came Hazel Sis….

Monday Morning….*sigh*

It’s Monday morning in the Pointer household….we not bees very happy abouts that….

We has got the Monday morning blues!!

We be very luckies that mummy not bees in workies todays, so we can spend all day in the garden chasing birds and flies and butterflies!! Yey!!

This weekend  Sophie Sis wented for a special walkie on her own, and mummy gotted these very nice photies…

I gotted stucks…

Hello Puppers, It’s Scotty here!

I thoughted I would shows you something what happened to me this week.

We has this big tree in our garden, and it is surrounded my lots of mud. Cos us Pointers like a good old dig, mummy and daddy blocked off the tree with some old garden chairs (I thoughted they were for sittings on?!).

Anyways, nimble Sophie Sis can get throughs the chairs and back dead easily. Hazel don’t even try, and normally neither do I. BUT recently some very silly black birds has decided to build a nest in that tree, in MY GARDEN!! How silly of them bridies to build a nest where us bird dogs lives.

As you cans imagines we is very obsessed with the brids. One day I ranned out and jumped straight over the chairs and gotted under the tree (woo hoo!). But then I realised I was stucked….

Oh no! How am I going to get out of here!! Mummy HELP!!

Mummy stop taking photies and RESCUE ME NOW!

You may be wondering how if I can get in can I not get out. Yous may also be wonderings why a BIG doggy like me cannot jump that little chair, even after my extensive (but rather rubbish) agility trainings….

Well the answer is…..I AM SCAREDED!!!  It be very embarassing to tells you but I do be a very scardey cat! Mummy has small barriers all over the house that we cans all jumps if we wanted to but we don’ts cos we be scareded! BOL

Then mummy letted me out…And guess what…..

I did it again about half an hour later!! BOL I just cannot resist them birdies. They taunt us you know, flying past us, sitting on the fence, and doing that silly chirrup chirrup noise.

We is very glad that Laska be back home safe and well, we was so worried about him.

We is very very sad to hear that Princess Dakota passed over to the bridge on Wednesday. We liked Dakota very much, she was such a sweet girl. She always loved posing with pretty yellow flowers. So in Dakota’s honour Hazel decided to pose amongst the buttercups on her walkie. You can sees she be smiling, thinkings about Dakota, running pain free at the bridge, waiting patiently for all her furriends to come and join her, in the mean time playings with all the DWB doggies that has already gone there.

Harry-Day!!

At weekend my mummy hadded to go and spend the day with our cousin Harry, cos his mummy and daddy wented out for the day. They not like to leave Harry too long since Barney wented to Rainbow Bridge, cos he get lonely.

Mummy tooked him out in her car and they wented to some woods for a walkie.

We hadded a bbq!

Hello Puppers!

After not having a bbq for mummy’s birfday we gotted to have one last week. It just beed us Pointers and the pawrents, so nofink specials or anything.

It was Hazel’s first bbq ever…she was impressed, gettings to stay outside and beg for food at the same time!!

Don't worry peeps, the bbq was cold when this was taken! BOL

I was far too busy to be beggings for food….

It beed a fly, on it’s back. It was fascinating. Once mummy tooked the photie she moved the fly so it could recover without me trying to eat it! BOL

Sophie say she beed far to posh to do bbqs so she wented inside and caught the last of the evening sun. She likes to top her tan up don’t you know….

We is back!!!

Hello Everypups!!

Sorry for the delay in bloggies from us. Stoopid mummy and daddy wented on something called a hollibob. And the cheeky pair wented without us!! They say they wented out of the country so we could nots go with them. How rude!!

Here is a note from mummy…

“As you all know, we lost our beloved Barney recently after a very nasty dog attack. We are pleased to say that the dog that attacked Barney has now been seized by the police. He has been taken to the local rescue centre (a very big one that is run by the council), where it will be temperament tested with dogs, children and adults (don’t ask us how they test it – muzzled and with great care I hope) if it is aggressive towards any person/animal it will have to be put to sleep, but if it doesn’t show aggression it will go up for adoption. I personally believe it won’t pass its tests, it must be a very aggressive dog to cause such terrible wounds to Barney and to kill him. Surely he cannot be placed back into a home and risk it happening again? Well we will never know, because the council won’t tell us what happens from here, so it will be a mystery. At least that dog won’t be living round the corner to Barney’s family any more. The dog’s owner allowed the dog to be taken once he/she saw the photos of his terrible wounds. We were very lucky that this happened, because if he/she did not voluntarily give the dog up then it would have been a long and possibly unsuccessful battle to have the dog seized.

We are very glad we got some small justice for Barney. The law in the UK isn’t very good concerning dangerous dogs, the police can’t do very much at all, unless the dog attacks a human very little can be done. Luckily we had a very proactive policeman who felt strongly about the issue and pressed for all to be done that possibly could. Thanks for all your kind comments.“

Back to me, Scott now…!

So, anyways, me and the Pointers (and mummy) decided to get something nice to remember Barney by for his mummy and daddy, so mummy had a portrait done of the boys, so that it can forever hang in their home to remind them of the very happiest of times they shared.

And here is the result….

Isn’t it bootiful? Mummy was so pleased with it, she framed it straight away and tooked it to Harry’s mummy house. She was very happy with it she cried!

Ok, I must dash off now peeps, I has to help mummy unpack her suitcase, she has lots of sandals and sunglasses that we can be carryings round for her, not sure why she tells us off for that, we only be helpings!!
