Hello Puppers!!

Here be some photos from our hollibobs….

Sophie pointed a chicken. I finks that chicken be glad of Sophie's flexi lead or else it would have been Pointer supper!

A cute sheepie. There was lots of sheepies on our hollibobs. We was used to them by the end but we was fascinated at first!

This be some woodland we gotted losted in! BOL

Sophie and daddy likied the view too.

Lovely open countryside and fresh air. But we was walking through a field of sheepies, so leads firmly attached! BOL

Back to the Pointer Truck and its din dins time. Mummy and daddy broughted me and Sophie a sandwich for our dinner every day to keep our energy up during the long walkies!

It was so warm that we gotted to eat din dins outside in the sunshine. Ahh I loves the sunshine

After a hard day walking and playing it was time for a pointer snoooooze!

You may notice one Pointer missing from our photies, that be Hazzle Dazzle. She gotted her lady time thingy and couldn’t come, mummy say it not be fair on anyone or dog to take Hazel, so nana came to stay with her at our house. We all missed her lots, well apart from when nana called and said Hazel hadded Salmon and vegetables for her tea, and toast for her brekkie, well that not be fair, all we gotted was boring butty for our dinner. I wished I was home with nana! BOL Nana wanted to treat Hazel dead nice cos she missed a holiday so she spoiled her rotten! BOL

And finally, mummy is making me share a very embarassin photie with you all, please don’t laugh, but this be the way that us Pointers relax…..

Birfday Shenananagins…

Hello Peeps!!

We is now back from our hollibobs and we hadded a brilliant time!! But before we do a holiday bloggie (or 3) we needs to tells yous about Hazel’s Birfday! It was last week, when we gotted back from Hollibobs.

She was a massive 6 years old. That be very old I think, cos I only bees 4 years old now. Anyways, she gotted lots of treats and a cake what mummy mades and we alls had some. She got a “busy buddy” toy with treeats what come out of it when she bashes it about, which she loves.

Mummy tooked us all on a very long walk, which was lovely, and daddy came too. We wented round a big puddle of water what be called a reservoir. Silly mummy forgotted her camera! But she did get some photies of us celebrating Hazel’s birfday afterwards…..

This be Hazels Cake. But she sharded it with us.

Happy Birfday to My Hazzle Dazzle Sister. That be her nickname at home you sees, Hazzle Dazzle!

It’s been a while….!

Hello Everypup!!

It has been a while since we last bloggied. We is all very sorry for the delay in bloggies from us. Mummy beed super busy and not hadded much time to use the compoooter. It all still has somethink to do with that nasty Mr Econononomy. He made everyfink change at our house. Mummy kinda has a new jobby, and was very stressed out by the old jobby so we had to use all our time to de stress her with lots of Pointer cuddles and long walkies!!

You’ll all be glads to know that things are kinda getting back to normal now, but with a few changes. So we should be able to bloggie a bit more now.

Nothing much has happened to us Pointers recently. We has been spending so much time looking after mummy that we hads no times for ourselves. We been doing lots of the usual Pointer things – cuddles!! And I has of course been busy doing my therapy work. I be getting very good at it now, the residents love me, and all give me yummy treats when I go!!

I hope all our bloggie furriends are ok. We have really missed you all, we has been a bit lonely without our blog furriends, so has mummy. We are going to try and get round to all your bloggies today, we will do our best!!

Tomorrow somethink very exciting is happening….we are going on a hollibob!!! It has been planned for about a year now, so Mr Econononomy can not stop us doing that at least! BOL We is going to a cottage in Norf Engerlands. It bees on a working farm, and has lots of space for us to run. And mummy said it also has an agility arena!!! So I can work on my skills, and show the girls how it’s done!!

So we wills not be bloggieing for another whole week. But rest assured there will be several bloggies all abouts our hollibobs!!

Right, must go off and pack now! Us Pointers need soooo much stuff, ten times as much as the pawrents!!

A proper Engerlish County Show

Hi Peeps,

Mummy wented to a country show recently, and she didn’t take us with her!! It beed a tradittional thingy in the countryside of Engerland. You probably has thems all overs the world.

Mummy wented with her furriend who beed competing in a working gundog test, so mummy thought it best to leave us home with our pops, so we didn’t distract our furriend!!

There was lots there apparently. Including lots of horses, some farm animals, a band, some motor bike displays, and some falconary displays (gosh I would have gone after them birds! lol) and also a craft and food tent. Mummy boughted a little painting of a Pointer. I wills have to gets her to take a photie of it.

Ooooh supper...!

Some posh horses with their hair done...!!

Then something very exciting went past mummy…. a hunt!! In Engerland it be tradittional for packs of hounds and horses to hunt foxes. It not be allowed anymore to hunt the actual foxes (phew cos that not be very nice) so now a days they just hunt a scent. Anyways, it be very tradittional, the hunters wear lovely red coats, and they always have a huge pack of hounds.

They all ran straight past mummy….

Here are the hounds! They looks a bit like me don't they? But I be a very different kind of doggy.

Isn't it amazing how they all be off lead, all without collars, and all staying together, not straying??

Mummy said it beed a good job I not beed there, cos I might have got mixed up with them, BOL and I wouldn’t know what to do on a hunt!! They must have been doing some kind of display or mock hunt at the fair but mummy missed it, cos she beed watching the gundogs!

That beed the first time mummy sawed fox hounds, or a hunt so she beed very excited to sees all them doggies!!

Then she watched the gun dogs. They all be from the retrieving breeds, so I would not has been very good at their trial, cos as a Pointer I do not retrieve anything. BOL Mummy has unsuccessfully tried to train us all to fetch, but she gived up, cos it not be in our nature.  We just be a pointing breed, we do not hunt or retrieve like some of our gundog furriends!!

The doggy is following hand signals only. He has to find a dummy in the undergrowth, and his handler has to point him in the right direction.

Yey, this beautiful black lab found the dummy!!

This yellow lab wented on strike half way through the exercise. It was new to the gundog training and I think he gotted confused and bored so he just sat there and waited until his handler came to get him! BOL My kind of furriend!!

Well that be it for the country fair photos. Hope you likied them. Mummy tooked lots of photos so that me and my bloggie furriends could feel like we all wented along with her!!

Everyfink is ok here at Pointer HQ. Mummy still always be busy with her workies, she keep saying something about an econonomy or sumfink, but I not know what that mean, but I know whatever it is it be nasty, cos it make my mummy stressed. She say lots of people be stressed cos of it. Well if I every meet Mr Econonononmy or what ever he be called I is going to give him a piece of my mind, makings people stressed is not nice. I has had to do mini therapy visits to mummy to de stress her! BOL

Da Pointer Boss

Hello Peeps!!

Today I wants to tells yous alls about the Pointer Boss. Now you may think this be me, but nope. You may think it be mummy or daddy?? Definately not!!!

The person that keeps us all in check is…..

Cookie the Cat. Yes a blinkin’ cat!! Yoos may be thinkings that she look small and cute, but nooo, she be a lean, mean, scratching machine!! BOL Ok so she doesn’t scratch very often (like never) but just her eyes looking at us makes us quiver!! When she walks into the room we all stop what we are doing and stand to attention. She is a very brave little kitty, she walks right underneath our legs, or over us if we are asleeps!!

Hazel be the least scarded of her, she just jumps on th sofa for a cuddle with her!!

I be the second least scarded. I has got great respect for cookie, she beed her before me, so I has to respect her! When she comes into the room I just don’t move, or make eye contact with her, that be the best way! BOL

And well Sophie Sis, she be the most scarded of her!! Sophie is so intriqued but also scarded of Cookie!! They has recently started sharing a sofa, and that be a big achievement!!

Sorry we has not been around much…

Hey Puppers and Bloggers!!

So sorry that we has not been blogging for a while. There has been a lot going on here at Pointer HQ. Mummy is a bit busy at the moment with boring old workies. She be very stressed and I is spending all my time giving Scotty therapy cuddles to cheer her up so I has not been able to get online much.

We have so much to share with you that we wills split it over a few bloggies.

First of all Sophie Sis turned 2 whole years old last week!! I cannot believe she is sooo old, she nearly be as old as me!!

Running like the wind…

Hello Puppers,

Sorry that we hasn’t bloggied since last week or visited any bloggies, we has been very busy.

We wented to a new park this week and I gotted to have a really good run, and it was lovely, I just ran and ran. Mummy and daddy kept doing recall work with me, but that bees boring, but they say it gotted me tired too! BOL

I am very sleepy at mummy’s office. Mummy’s furriends at work think I be the bestest behaved dog ever, mummy says they not know the real Sophie!!! And mummy not understand why I am so sleepy, calm and quiet at workies, and so naughty, barky and destructive at home!! hee hee!

I gotted hungry so I decided to chew my jowels!! BOL

The light in mummy's office is quite bright so I has to cover my little eyes to go sleepies.
